CDFW Propagation Fund Grants
The Mendocino County Fish and Game Commission solicits grant applications that comply with the California Department of Fish and Wildlife guidelines and codes. The Commission reviews the applications and recommends appropriate projects to the Mendocino County Board of Supervisors for grant awards. Grant applications are solicited annually in the autumn and awarded in early spring. Per the County Board of Supervisor's request, projects leading to wildlife and habitat restoration and rehabilitation will be prioritized. The Mendocino County Fish and Game Commission is currently soliciting grant applications for projects that benefit fish and/or wildlife in Mendocino County and comply with the California Department of Fish and Wildlife guidelines and codes. The Commission will submit recommendations to the Board of Supervisors for the awarding of grants in January 2023. In Fiscal Year 2022/2023, the available amount for Grant Allocations is $25,000 total. Per the County Supervisor’s request, projects leading to wildlife and habitat restoration and rehabilitation will be prioritized.
