Mendocino County Fish & Game Commission


The Mendocino County Fish and Game Commission is a local body of volunteer Commissioners who meet every other month at locations throughout the County to discuss relevant fish and wildlife issues and administer an annual grants program.

The mission of the Fish and Game Commission is to advise the Mendocino County Board of Supervisors on fish and wildlife matters pertaining to Mendocino County.

Public Trust:
Promotes full understanding and trust through effective communication and transparency.

Provides technical analyses and funding recommendations to the Board of Supervisors.

Encourages the public to participate in activities of the Fish and Game Commission.
