Inland Zoning Code (Division I of Title 20)

The Mendocino County Inland Zoning Code (Division I of Title 20) is applicable to all properties within the unincorporated area of the County, exclusive of those areas known as the Coastal Zone.

Coastal Zoning Code (Division II of Title 20)

The Mendocino County Coastal Zoning Code (Division II of Title 20) is applicable to all properties within the unincorporated areas of the Coastal Zone within Mendocino County, exclusive of those areas delineated on Map 32 of the Coastal Element of the General Plan known as the Town of Mendocino.

Mendocino Town Zoning Code (Division III of Title 20)

The Mendocino Town Zoning Code (Division III of Title 20) is applicable to all properties within the unincorporated areas of the Town of Mendocino as delineated on Map 32 of the Coastal Element of the General Plan.

Division of Land Regulations (Title 17)

The Division of Land Regulations governs the subdivision of parcels in Mendocino County.

Building Regulations (Title 18)

This Title is enacted as a result of requirements of State law and the determination that within the unincorporated area of this county, certain types of construction require regulation to provide minimum standards to safeguard lives and property and protect the public health, safety and general welfare. The Board of Supervisors of the County of Mendocino has determined that the adoption of this Title will assure local control of the mandatory building inspection requirements of the State of California.

Stormwater Runoff Pollution Prevention Procedure (Chapter 16.30)

The purpose and intent of this Chapter is to protect and promote the health, safety, and general welfare of citizens, and protect and enhance the water quality of watercourses, water bodies, and wetlands in a manner pursuant to and consistent with the Federal Clean Water Act, and the Porter-Cologne Water Quality Control Act by reducing pollutants in storm water discharges to the maximum extent practicable and by prohibiting non-storm water discharges to the storm drainage system.
