The County of Mendocino is pleased to announce the implementation of Planet Bid System™, a fully automated web-based vendor and bid management system. This system will make doing business with the County of Mendocino easier by providing vendors up-to-date information regarding bid requests.

Security Guard Services

This Request for Proposal (RFP) announces the intent of the County of Mendocino to
provide a uniformed security officer for the Department of Social Services Buildings
located at 727-747 S. State St. Ukiah, CA., 764-790 S. Franklin St., Fort Bragg, CA.,
and 472 E. Valley St., Willits, CA.
The purpose of the RFP is to notify potential vendors that the bidding process is open
for the “Security Guard Services” contract. This will ensure a competitive bidding
process through which, the best suited vendor for the 3-year contract will be chosen.

Vendors must submit seven (7) copies of their proposal: Six (6) complete paper
copies with original Vendor signature, and one (1) complete copy on a USB drive.
The proposal must be formatted in accordance with the instructions of this RFP.
Promotional materials may be attached but are not necessary and will not be
considered as meeting any of the requirements of this RFP. Proposals must be
enclosed in a sealed envelope or package, clearly marked “Mendocino County RFP
No. 046-22”, and delivered by 2:00 p.m. July 29, 2022 to:

Late or facsimile proposals will not be accepted. It is the proposer’s
responsibility to assure that its proposal is delivered and received at the location
specified herein, on or before the date and hour set. Proposals received after the date and time specified will not be considered.
