On December 19, 2023, the Mendocino County Board of Supervisors adopted Ordinance No. 4530, exempting like-for-like replacement roofs and roof-mount solar energy systems, and Ordinance No. 4531, exempting certain dead, diseased or hazardous tree removal.

Individuals wishing to conduct Hazardous Tree Removal must complete an Affidavit and submit it to the Department of Planning and Building Services including all required attachments.
