Vegetable Garden Storytime!
A Book-to-Action Event at the Ukiah Branch Library
Saturday, April 22nd 10:30 AM- Noon
The Ukiah Branch Library invites families with children of all ages to attend a special story time and craft event this spring! This Vegetable Garden Story Time will begin at 10:30 am on Saturday, April 22nd and will include books, songs, and rhymes all about farms, gardening, and veggies galore. After a 30-minute story time, we will make our own biodegradable newspaper pots and plant some vegetable starts. Participants will be able to take their vegetable starts home to begin their very own kitchen gardens!
Snacks and beverages will be provided courtesy of the Ukiah Valley Friends of the Library.

Un evento Book-to-Action en la sucursal Ukiah de la biblioteca

¡La sucursal Ukiah de la biblioteca invita a las familias con niños de todas las edades a asistir a un evento especial de cuentos y manualidades esta primavera! Este tiempo de cuentos de huertos comenzará a las 10:30 am del sábado, 22 de abril e incluirá libros, canciones y rimas sobre granjas, jardinería y abundancia de vegetales. Después de una hora de cuentos de 30 minutos, haremos nuestras propias macetas de periódicos biodegradables y sembraremos algunos brotes de vegetales. ¡Los participantes podrán llevarse sus vegetales a casa para comenzar sus propios huertos!
Se proporcionarán refrigerios y bebidas por cortesía de los Amigos de la Biblioteca de Ukiah Valley.
