 "Sold Out"

Due to an overwhelming response this event is now sold out.

A stone really can tell a story. . . Join us as we explore the fascinating lives and legacies of those interred at the Little Lake Cemetery. Through theatrical readings, community volunteers will bring to life the marvelous and sometimes tragic tales of Mendocino County’s past. The infamous shoot-out between the Frosts and Coates will be presented in a captivating original monologue by special guest, playwright Don Sampson.

Little Lake Cemetery is located at 875 E Hill Rd, Willits, CA 95490. Parking is available at the cemetery, visitors are asked to ensure all roadways are kept clear. When joining us for this program please be aware that this is a shared space; be mindful of other cemetery visitors, do not touch headstones, do not remove items placed at gravesites, children should not be left unattended, take all your belongings and any trash when you leave.

Tickets will be $7.00 for adults, $3.00 for 17 and under, and will include admission to the Museum on the day of the event. Tickets can be purchased at the Museum; advance purchase is strongly encouraged.

Topics will cover death, gun fights, and/or hangings, so parental discretion is advised.

Program presented by the Mendocino County Museum in partnership with the Willits Branch of the Mendocino County Library, community volunteers, and with the generous support of the Little Lake Cemetery District.
