Virgin Pulse Self-Paced "Journey" Programs
The "Journeys" within our Virgin Pulse program offers a digital, self-guided coaching experience on a variety of lifestyle and health topics. Fear, worry, and stress are normal responses to perceived or real threats, and at times when we are faced with uncertainty or the unknown. "Journeys" programs are available to help you create ways to overcome these feelings such as:
- Beat the Blues Journey
- Dial Back the Drinking Journey
- Build a Solid Routine Journey
- Stress Management Journeys (5 options for you to choose from)
- Sleep Journeys (5 options for you to choose from)
To get started, log-in or create a new account on the VirginPulse website. In your menu toolbar, select "Health" and then "Journeys".
Virgin Pulse Friends & Family - It's Better Together
Humans are social beings, and the social distancing that is necessary to fight coronavirus is hard on everyone. The forced change in social behavior and the resulting isolation can affect everyone's physical and mental health in many ways. Now more than ever, its important to maintain your social network, accountability and well-being during these uncertain times (even if it is virtually). New for 2020 on the Virgin Pulse platform, now you can invite up to 10 friends and family to join Virgin Pulse (outside of our organization) to build your support network. Your invitees can create challenges, compare stats, track healthy habits, participate in healthy habit challenges and more. You can even create groups around common interests like biking, recipe sharing, or a lunchtime walking club.
To add Friends, follow these steps:
- Log into your account on the Virgin Pulse member website.
- Hover over “Friends” in the top-navigation menu. In the drop-down menu that appears, select “My Friends”. Select "Add Friends". When the popup appears: select "Friends outside Your company"
Create Healthy Habits on Virgin Pulse
Small steps lead to big changes. Our new Virgin Pulse wellness website will help you make small, everyday changes to your wellbeing that are focused on the areas you want to improve most. Healthy Habit trackers are bite-sized ways to build a healthy routine and improve your wellbeing. These healthy habits will help you maintain your wellness even during a pandemic. You can select from almost 400 trackers on Virgin Pulse that will help you create healthy habits. Click here to browse the various habits you can choose from.
Library Resources
Your energy levels can be influenced by so many different things. Stress levels, the foods you eat, physical activity, etc. Use this time to learn something new, work on your stress reduction, practice mindful eating, improve your relationships with emotional intelligence. Visit the Wellness Lending Library webpage to check out your resource. Once reserved, your resource will be sent to you via interoffice mail. With over 700 resources to choose from, there is something for everyone!
