County Budget and Fee Schedule

The annual adopted budget serves as the County’s primary policy and budget document.  It communicates the Board of Supervisors’ priorities and how departments align their program goals and objectives to achieve them.  The budget is structured to provide both high-level context and line item detail on Mendocino County’s operations and how the County strives to serve the community.

Mendocino County’s budget corresponds to a fiscal year that begins on July 1 and ends the following June 30.

In an effort to provide a more inclusive and transparent budget, Mendocino County is pleased to present our County Budget Portal.

Mendocino County partnered with to provide a new web-based financial transparency and business intelligence tool that dynamically presents the County's revenues and expenses, from multi-year trends to line item level details.
