The Mendocino County Parks system is operated by the Cultural Services Agency -- Parks Division and maintained by the Facilities and Fleet Division of the Executive Office.
The Parks system includes six parks and three public access areas, all of which are maintained by County Facilities and Fleet Division maintenance and groundskeeping staff. Each park has its own “personality”, showcasing a different facet of Mendocino County’s wealth of natural resources.

NOTICE: Effective May 14, 2019, Mendocino County Parks group picnic area reservations for Low Gap Park, Mill Creek Park, and Redwood Valley Lion’s Club Park will be moved to the Cultural Services Agency administrative offices located at 880 N. Bush Street, Ukiah (located on the corner of North Bush Street and Low Gap Road next to the Farm Advisor Building). Day use or group picnic area reservations will no longer be administered by the Mendocino County Executive Office as of May 14, 2019.
Group Picnic Area Reservations
Reservations of specific areas of several County parks may be made for parties, picnics, receptions, and other events. Reservation information is included for each park, along with rates and any restrictions that may apply.
Cultural Services Agency staff handle reservations for parks in the Ukiah area: Low Gap, Mill Creek, and Redwood Valley Lions Club parks. The Cultural Services Agency staff can only except cash or check, please have exact change when paying for park reservations. The caretakers at Bower Park and Indian Creek Park receive payments directly, however, use is on a first-come/first-serve basis.

Indian Creek Volunteer Campground Host
To learn more or apply for the Volunteer Campground Host position at Indian Creek County Park and Campground please see the links below. Indian Creek County Park and Campground is located near Philo, California along Highway 128. The campground is beautifully situated in a grove of large old growth redwoods on the south bank of Indian Creek near its juncture with the Navarro River.
2019 Season at Indian Creek County Park and Campground is April-October. Couples are welcome to apply! The campground host is expected to work 15 hours a week, including every weekend and holiday completing duties such as greeting visitors, the clean up of 10 sites and 1 restroom facility. Amenities and benefits of volunteer service, the campground host is provided a dedicated site with full RV hookups (water, sewer, electric), a phone line, and access to a P.O. Box.
