Cooling Stations Open to the Public

Post Date:06/20/2017 3:25 PM

The National Weather Service has issued a Heat Advisory for inland Mendocino County for Sunday, June 16, 2017 between the hours of 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Temperatures are expected to peak between the mid 90’s and 107 degrees. High daytime temperatures are expected to persist into the middle of next week.  High temperatures increase the risk of dehydration and other heat related illnesses. Please be especially mindful of those who have limited mobility or are susceptible to the heat, including children and older adults. It is suggested that individuals attempt to reduce exertion, stay in a cool place when possible and drink plenty of water to stay hydrated.
