Mendocino County to Hold Press Conference on COVID-19 Thursday, March 26, 2020 at 4:00 p.m.

Mendocino County will hold a press conference updating the community on the COVID-19 pandemic in our community and region.  In addition, the County will provide more information on the revised Shelter-In-Place Order, Order enforcement and the second COVID-19 case in our community.

When: Thursday, March 26, 2020, at approximately 4:00 p.m.

Where: County Administrative Center – Board Chambers – 501 Low Gap Road, Ukiah, CA 95482

Who:  Karen Smith, MD, MPH, Former Director of California Department of Public

            Health under Governor Brown’s Administration

  James Flaherty, MD, Mendocino County Deputy Health Officer

            Matthew Kendall, Mendocino County Sheriff

            Carmel Angelo, Mendocino County Chief Executive Officer

Live Online: The press conference will be live streamed on the Mendocino County YouTube Channel (www.youtube.com/MendocinoCountyVideo) and Facebook page

(www.facebook.com/mendocinocounty/).

THIS PRESS CONFERENCE FORUM IS FOR MEDIA PERSONNEL ONLY, BUT THE PUBLIC IS WELCOME TO WATCH FROM THE COUNTY’S YOUTUBE CHANNEL OR FACEBOOK PAGE. Press is considered essential business and Mendocino County will be enforcing social distancing during the press conference, a practice that is easier with fewer attendees. Press will be required to check-in at the door for screening.
