LIBRARY OUTREACH FESTIVAL AT THE PARK

Friday, July 12th 4:00 – 7:00 pm at Lions Club Park

The Mendocino County Library is hosting its first ever Library Outreach Festival at the Redwood Valley Lions Club Park on Friday, July 12th, 2019, from 4:00 – 7:00 pm. The Library Outreach Festival is for all ages and will have games, prize baskets, snacks, shaved ice, and live music from the Back Porch Project. Additionally, the County Museum will have an educational activity table.

Library Outreach VehicleAt the event, the Bookmobile will be hosting its own mini New Book Festival. The Library will also be debuting its new grant funded Library Outreach Van. The Outreach Festival and new Outreach Van are an effort to bring library services into the community and across the County. Our goal is to reach people who are otherwise unable to take advantage of normal library programs and services. Join us at one of Mendocino County’s lovely parks for a fun evening.

This project is supported in part by the U.S. Institute of Museum and Library Services under the provisions of the Library Services and Technology Act, administered in California by the State Librarian. For more information, please visit www.mendolibrary.org or contact the Mendocino County Cultural Services Agency at 234-2875.

To request a Library visit from our new Outreach Vehicle, please fill out the form on the Outreach page.
