In order to promote careers with the County of Mendocino and work toward filling the many existing vacancies, the County's Human Resources Department hosted its second ever County job fair on May 24, 2018. The free event was held at the County Administration Center in Ukiah and was attended by more than 230 job seekers. Almost all County departments and offices were represented, with staff on site to talk with attendees and provide information about the variety of positions available.

 According to Human Resources Director, Heidi Dunham, the event was a great success and was attended by job seekers of all ages, including high school seniors getting ready to graduate and recent college graduates preparing to enter the job market.
