Cultivating Edible Mushrooms

This will be a hands on class demonstrating how to grow edible mushrooms on wooden logs. Participants will learn how to inoculate logs with mushroom spawn, mushroom and wood compatibility, and what materials are needed to cultivate your own mushrooms. This program will be led by Will Minor from the Willits Library.

The class will be held at the Mendocino County Museum's interactive room at 400 E. Commercial Street in Willits.
