New Exhibit Opening at the Mendocino County Museum
Natural Expressions: Art Inspired by Mendocino County

From the Mendocino County Museum’s permanent collection, Natural Expressions: Art Inspired by Mendocino County exhibit features arts and crafts showcasing the beauty and diversity of Mendocino County’s landscapes and resources. The mixed media exhibit includes paintings, fiber art, and various crafts made from Mendocino County’s rich natural resources such as mushrooms, driftwood, shells, redwood, and leather.
Works from beloved Mendocino County artists such as Lorenzo Latimer, Grace Hudson, and Mark Walker will be on display. In addition, nature inspired weaving, quilting, woodworking, and leather working will be exhibited.
To celebrate the new exhibit opening, the Museum will offer FREE admission on Saturday, November 9, 2019. Visitors will be invited to participate in a FREE nature inspired art craft from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
