First Friday Art Walk, Book Sale & Book Release Reception

On Friday, October 4th from 5:00-7:00 pm, the Ukiah Branch of the Mendocino County Library is hosting Art Walk Ukiah, Celebrating our Agricultural Heritage: A Photography Exhibit from the Mendocino County Historical Society. This month’s exhibit will explore the Ukiah Valley’s agricultural past with photos from the Mendocino County Historical Society’s extensive collection. Pianist Charlie Seltzer will be the evening’s musical entertainment while guests create seasonal acorn jewels and peruse the monthly book sale. Refreshments will be available. This event is for all ages, is free to the public, and sponsored by the Mendocino County Library and the Friends of the Ukiah Valley Library. We will also be hosting the Awakening to Wildfire: Stories of the Mendocino Lake Complex Fire book release reception. Copies of the book will be available for purchase. Proceeds benefit the Redwood Valley and Santa Rosa Community Recovery Fund. This event is sponsored by the Ukiah Valley Friends of the Library.
