Linda Pack will read selections from The Soul of the Night: An Astronomical Pilgrimage, by Astronomer and physicist Chet Raymo at the Ukiah Library. Poised between poetry and physics The Soul of the Night is a fascinating exploration of the night sky, with lyrical excursions into the science of galaxies, quasars, dark matter, eclipses and more.
This free event is suitable for all ages, especially anyone who loves physics, the magic of cosmology and the music of words.
