Special Extended Weekend Hours: September 7-8

In Honor of Roots of Motive Power Steam Festival

Mendocino County Museum will have extended weekend hours and offer FREE Admission from 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 7th, and Sunday September 8th, in honor of the Roots of Motive Power Steam Festival that will be held at the Roots of Motive Power Yard (next door to the Museum).

The public is invited to attend the Roots of Motive Power Steam Festival on September 7-8, 2019, from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. This FREE event includes historic train rides and a chance to view historic steam equipment demonstrations like steam shovels, steam rollers, stationary engines, tractors and more!
